Program and Registration Form (pdf)
Dates:
Friday & Saturday, November 7-8, 2008
The popularity of the Pilates Method has consistently grown to mass appeal over the past few decades. Though Pilates owes its name-recognition to the fitness world, the method’s roots are in rehabilitation and are commonly "prescribed" as part of a therapy program.
Despite these beginnings, there is often an education gap between the "prescribers" of Pilates and the "instructors" of Pilates. This course will fill the gap by demystifying the Pilates Method for the physical therapist, physiatrist and other physicians of musculoskeletal disorders.
Target Audience
This course is designed for PT’s, Exercise Physiologists and Physiatrists. This course is appropriate for clinicians with limited Pilates exposure who wish to increase their knowledge of Pilates principles for their patient population.
Space is Limited!
Because of the intensive, "hands on" nature of this program, registration is limited to 16 participants. Register now and make sure you get a spot!
