Reversing the Effects of Sarcopenia, the Muscle-Mass Decline That Starts in the 30s

James F. Wyss, MD, PT, a physiatrist at Hospital for Special Surgery, writes an article about sarcopenia, a condition that causes loss of muscle mass and function in individuals as early as 30 years of age. Dr. Wyss identifies that one of the most important factors about sarcopenia is realizing that this condition is manageable, reversible, and maybe even preventable.
