Jordan Deitch Brings Positive Energy, Unique Ball Movement to Baseball Team

Jordan Deitch, a relief pitcher for the State University of New York at New Paltz's baseball team, the New Paltz Hawks, explains what it is like playing baseball with symptoms associated with amniotic band syndrome. This condition impacted the development of Deitch's limbs.

In the article Deitch says "he found the one doctor that believed, after a few surgeries, he could do anything he set his mind to: Dr. Robert Hotchkiss at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York." Deitch also explains that living with amniotic band syndrome "really showed me that I am given what I am given. I don't consider it a negative in any way. It got me to this point..."
