Hospital for Special Surgery named number 1 in orthopedics

Stamford (Conn.) Plus—August 2, 2012

Hospital for Special Surgery, which has an Affiliated Physicians Office in Greenwich, has been named the top hospital in the country for orthopedics by U.S. News and World Report in its 2012 “America’s Best Hospitals” survey. This is the third consecutive year Special Surgery has ranked No. 1 in orthopedics. The hospital was also named a leader in rheumatology at No. 3 in the nation. Connecticut residents who don’t wish to travel to New York City can see a doctor at the hospital's Greenwich office.
