Pediatric Sports Medicine

More young people are participating in sports today than ever before.  Not only are children and adolescents playing in more competitive sports, but they are also suffering increasing numbers of sports-related injuries.

Sports injuries in children can range from the common sprain and strain to growth plate injuries,  osteochondritis dissecans, patella sublaxation / dislocation, discoid meniscus, and injuries of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
