Peter G. Bullough, MD

Dr. Peter Bullough has served as chairman of the department of Laboratory medicine for the past 20 years. A graduate of Liverpool University Medical school, Dr. Bullough completed his training in anatomical pathology at Harvard University Medical School; his training in orthopedic pathology at the Hospital for Joint Disease New York under Dr. Henry Jaffe and at Oxford University under Professor Jose Trueta. He is attending pathologist at The Hospital for Special Surgery and the New York Presbyterian Hospital and Professor of Pathology at Cornell University Medical College.

Dr. Bullough has published over 170 articles in addition to many book chapters and numerous texts, most notably Orthopedic Pathology now in its 4th edition and, together with Robert Owen and John Goodfellow, one of the earliest books on the “Scientific Foundation of Orthopedics and Traumatology”. He is an internationally recognized speaker and has been honored with the medal of the International Skeletal Society. Dr. Bullough is board certified in Anatomic Pathology.
