Dr. Svetlana Ilizarov is a board certified physiatrist who joined the staff of Institute for Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction at Hospital for Special Surgery in 2002. She specializes in Rehabilitation of patients after limb lengthening and reconstruction surgery (Ilizarov Surgery). She was trained by her father Prof. Gavriil A. Ilizarov in Limb Lengthening and Deformity Correction at the Center of Reconstructive Orthopaedics and Trauma in Russia.
