In 2017, Hospital for Special Surgery partnered with UFC to serve as the global brand’s first-ever official hospital. As the official hospital of the world’s premier mixed martial arts organization, HSS provides UFC with specialized access to the Hospital’s elite team of sports medicine surgeons and staff, who serve as orthopedic consultants to UFC athletes. In addition, HSS also supports UFC athletes onsite at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas, Nevada. This state-of-the-art performance, research and innovation facility is host to the HSS Sports Rehabilitation Center where physical therapists care for visiting UFC athletes.
