On the day of my surgery, I was welcomed into a very comfortable waiting area. I was quickly taken into a preparation room where I met the sweetest OR staff I have ever met in my life. I have had many surgeries and I was so impressed with this hospital and their staff members. I felt truly at ease. I had no anxiety or stress neither before nor after surgery. I was treated so special. I felt like I was royalty or a music or TV star. The facility was clean and bright. There was no hospital smell and the seats and beds were very comfortable. I have to say thank you to each of Dr. Allen's staff and a very special thank you to Dr. Allen for a job well done. I will always refer anyone of my family or friends to not only Dr. Allen but to Hospital for Special Surgery. The (Special) in the hospital's name really identifies them. They are special and they treat you special. I wouldn't have had my surgery anywhere else.
