The Team Strength Training Workshop is ideal for coaches who would like to start a sports specific strength program for their team. This program is an injury prevention program that aims to prevent overuse injury. Normally this workshop is geared for sports that involve repetitive use of a particular extremity such as baseball and tennis.
This Team Workshop is a one-hour on-site strength orientation where one of our staff trainers attend the practice session and run the workshop with the coach. The trainer speaks to the athletes on the goals of the workshop and common injuries of their sport. The primary focus is on educating athletes on the importance of strength training as an effective means of preventing injuries associated with their sport. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend and observe.
