Pediatric Rheumatology

The Division of Pediatric Rheumatology provides complex and comprehensive diagnostic services for children with rheumatic diseases and related conditions.  Virtually every medicine that is used by the adult rheumatologist - in the appropriate child, with very careful monitoring - is now used by our experienced pediatric rheumatologists with excellent outcomes.  With new biologic therapies, many of them tested at HSS, along with physical therapy, the disease can be controlled and children can regain normal function.
